Beatrice the Busy Bee Workshop at the Ark

Tuesday 23rd February – Saturday 12 March 2016

Beatrice the Busy Bee Workshop at the ArkMeet a super hero bee called Beatrice. Her special power is pollination but there is a problem: she lost her house to a lawn mower. So what is the solution? Planting, keeping it wild, telling people the story. Artist Paula Henihan delivers a gentle, creative workshop based on an engaging story about Beatrice the Bee and her busy bee friends.

Following the storytelling Paula will lead the workshop participants in an interactive making session where the children (along with their grown-up) will participate in different activity areas to make group and individual pieces full of colour inspired by Beatrice and her story.
