Opening Ceremony
Join in a spectacular opening ceremony complete with dragons, drummers and circus performers.

Onward & Upward Chinese New Year Lanterns
Explore stories from the festival and create your own lantern to send wishes to the future.
When: Saturday 4th Feb, 2pm – 3.30pm
Where: Chester Beatty Library, Dublin Castle, Dame St, Dublin 2
How much: Free. Booking required here
Ages: 6-11 yrs

Fun with Roosters
Decorate your very own rooster using lots of crafty materials.
When: Saturday 4th Feb, 12.15pm – 1pm
Where: Chester Beatty Library, Dublin Castle, Dame St, Dublin 2
How much: Free. First come first served basis
Ages: Pre-school (1 – 4 yrs)

Spring Festival Fair
Rooster themed activities, arts & crafts, shadow puppetry, martial arts and music performances. Try your hand at chess or chinese calligrapgy. Taste some typical chinese food and watch the colourful lion and dragon dancers.
When: Sunday 5th Feb, 12pm – 5pm

Lantern Making for Families
Get creative with your lovely ones and make some Chinese Lanterns
