Open House Dublin 2016

Friday 14th – Sunday 16th October 2016
Family Events Open House Dublin 2016

Open House gives us a rare and wonderful opportunity to glimpse inside some of Dublin’s buildings and residences. See the full programme for listings of talks, tours and exhibitions here. Most tours are on a first come first served basis so make sure that you get there early.
This year Open House have teamed up with Fr Peter McVerry Trust to raise awareness of World Homelessness Day and the importance of use of space in our city. They are asking for our support by donating – information here.

The Junior Open House programme is themed Time Travelling. There is a great mix of workshops and tours to suit different age groups.  From drop-in workshops at The National Gallery to learning to design and create crazy constructions or a Time Travel Quiz at Marshes library there is something for all tastes. Here are our picks:

Raising the Roof family workshop at National Gallery of Ireland
Memory Box Building Stories at dlr LexIcon
Time Travel Quiz at Marsh’s Library
Make a Tower House at National Museum
