Wednesday 18th January 2017

Family Events Sleeping Beauty at Draiocht (autism friendly)A Pantomime for all the family, Sleeping Beauty is a classic fairy tale about a beautiful Princess, an enchanted spinning wheel and a handsome Prince.

This is a sensory friendly performance for children and families specifically designed to welcome people who will benefit from a more relaxed performance environment, including people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability.  This means that throughout the performance there will have no sudden noises or bangs, restricted capacity, the ability to move around, softer and brighter lighting and music at a suitable level. Draiocht will also provide a chill-out area with low lighting for parents/guardians to bring children who may need to have a little break.  The venue have created a pre-visit guide and a short video to ‘meet your seat’
