Little Museum of Dublin

Little Museum of Dublin

This gem of a Museum is a relatively new addition to the Dublin cultural scene. Over 3 floors of a beautiful Georgian house fringing Stephens Green houses an eclectic mix of items of Dublin life from the past 100 years.

The museum told me, “we love to make the story of the city a fascinating tale for ages 1 to 100”. I highly recommend the Stand Up History of Ireland tours on Sundays with the hilarious Ciaran McMahon. This “tour with a twist” will entertain the entire family.
All regular tours are also family friendly. Kids will particularly enjoy the mini piano, grip test and the actual model of Wanderly Wagon which was used in flying scenes. Worksheets are available for children of all ages that can help you get more out of your visit. Also, the tour guides can give you and your children some special attention.
