Saturday 28th March – 2nd May 2015
Every artwork has a story to tell! Sometimes worlds cross over and strange things happen – humans take on animal form, objects shrink or grow, people dream enchanted dreams and things are not always as they seem.
Let your imagination run wild as you explore this exhibition of artworks that are a little bit mysterious, alluring and perhaps magical. These artworks suggest themes that have fascinated artists, writers, thinkers and dreamers across history. Have fun imagining what the artworks are about and what stories they tell. This exhibition will spark your imagination and get you creating stories of your own!
During your visit to the exhibition, families are invited to relax and spend some time in the cosy corner, reading and listening to fairy tales or you can get creative in the response area writing or drawing your own imagined stories, inspired by the exhibition.
